I remember writing a post some time ago about learning from your mistakes. Come to think of it, this is the maxim that most people think of when they want to improve something in their lives. They go back in time and examine what went wrong, learn from that incident, and then move on to live a better life. How about looking at things from another perspective? What I mean is, why don’t we try to take on a more positive note and learn from our successes. This is all a matter of perspective, if you think about it. Either way you look at it, you can learn something. I suppose it is your attitude that matters. If you are open to learning, then you will always benefit. So why don’t you look back and examine what you did right for once. For example, take a look at your most popular posts. Which posts had the most visitors? You can find this out your tracking tools. I personally prefer Google Analytics but there are other tools which you can use out there. What made that post so popular? Which posts had the most comments? Why do you think a lot of people commented on those posts? What did you do that incited your readers to share their thoughts with you and the rest of the world? Could it be your writing style and tone? Could it be the topic? Whatever it is that made your blog posts successful, you should be able to pinpoint the reason. More than that, capitalize on it. Try to replicate your success by picking out pointers from your best posts.
