You can be the best writer in the world but if you cannot find time to write, how can you be productive? Not all bloggers are doing it full time. In fact, there are probably only a few who really do blog full time. Most bloggers I know actually have day jobs and very busy lives. As such, there are times when they simply have no time for writing.
I know this kind of situation very well as I am one of those bloggers. As much as I want to spend all of my time writing and taking care of my blogs, the time limitations are sometimes insurmountable – or are they really? Why don’t we take a look at some ways we can find some extra time to write. Trust me, even a mere 10 minutes can make a huge difference in productivity.
Set your alarm earlier than usual.
This is one thing that I have found to be very useful. Sometimes, I only set it 10 minutes earlier. Sometimes, I try for an hour. It really depends on how late I went to bed the previous night or how tired I was the night before. The idea is to allot some time in the morning for writing just before I get ready for my day job. In the beginning, it could be quite difficult, especially if you are not a morning person. But with enough will and persistence, it gets easier. More so, if you start seeing the results, you’d find getting up a bit earlier more attractive.
