If we are to pursue an effective blogging career, these blogging traits can be worked on but can’t be achieved overnight though some may get lucky. Experience is teaching me everyday that I still have a long way to go to reach that effective, successful blogging career that I dream about and work my foot off.
Passion – The most important thing, we bloggers need to possess. Hey without it we wouldn’t last a month blogging, or we soon would hit a brick wall and lose the idea. We must be passionate in our writing, in blogging, in everything we do.
Confidence – We must comfortable in blogging that we are able to show our maturity and stride with confidence because it is the key to build trust and relationships with our readers.
Humor – Adding humor to your blog and style of writing gives your blog uniqueness and flavor. Did you ever notice the some of the best blogs have humor mixed within their topic for easier and fun reading pleasure.
Respect – Respect is earned, but you also have to work for it, by being fair in your blog, giving respect to other bloggers, readers, commentors. Sure we all know that. It’s hard to gain the trust of the readers, if you don’t know what you’re talking about. You have to be Credible and in authority and still maintain an approachable and fair personality in your blog.
Credibility – We as Bloggers, are always put under the microscope by our readers and are always put to the test, If we know about our subject matter or are we just rambling on and just copied or leeched some poor dude’s hard worked article and claimed it for our own. Whenever we write articles our credibility is under attack as well as our writing and our authority in the subject matter.
